Conducts Discrete-Event Simulation or other statistical modelling studies for Delivery impact analysis of mass-production run-rate and/or capital investment change-points for new model introduction, process layout, and capacity changes for vehicle frame manufacturing.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform 2D/ 3D discrete- event simulation studies for system - level engineering analysis Collaborate with department category leaders and delivery teams to ensure changepoints meet system requirements Lead development and improvement of DES capabilities & methods to support strategy for future BEV introduction and maturation Support MS&S investigations to study new concepts for delivery characteristic improvement Correlate production data to simulation to improve DES accuracy and effectiveness Conduct deep data analytics on bottleneck processes to provide countermeasure options Support and mentor peers and co- ops, continuously improving technical development plan Recommended Skills Data Analysis Discrete Event Simulation Research Simulations Software Requirements Analysis Investments Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
